Dr. Joe Dello Russo is a renowned LASIK pioneer. Dr. Joe Dello Russo has three sons following in his footsteps by pursuing careers in the field of ophthalmology.

The oldest son, Dr. Jeff Dello Russo, works alongside his father providing generations of care to their patients throughout New York and New Jersey. Dr. Jeff Dello Russo has already proven himself to be an outstanding LASIK surgeon like his father. Additionally, Dr. Dello Russo’s middle son, Dr. James Dello Russo, is the Executive Director of the New Jersey Eye Center and Main Eyeglass Center. His youngest son, Dr. Jeremy Dello Russo, is presently completing a residency program at Downstate Medical Center in New York.

Unlike the proverbial family business where the children take over when the father retires, medicine imposes on progeny an entirely new set of circumstances. Most importantly, they must be accepted into medical school, an achievement that requires rigorous academic achievement and grueling amounts of effort. Dr. Joe Dello Russo is proud of his sons’ academic and professional accomplishments and is particularly honored to be working with his sons, Dr. Jeff Dello Russo and Dr. James Dello Russo, to provide generations of exceptional care to their patients.

In addition to his children, Dr. Joseph Dello Russo’s wife is also a part of his practice. A registered nurse, Stephanie Dello Russo works full time and is largely responsible for the marketing. This unique arrangement is a rare occurrence in the high-tech world of laser vision correction, and provides a number of obvious and less obvious advantages for the patient.
